Peachtree Immediate Care - North Decatur

Overall pretty good, especially during a very busy sick season. Came as a walk in this time and check in was efficient. Was told wait time was 1.5 hours and they were exactly right. Once they got us back to the room it went very quickly for an xray. Radiology results came back quickly and we were thankfully on our way. In an out in just over 2 hours, which I didn’t think was too bad at all. Everyone was friendly, place was clean.

They were very close to getting 5 stars. The wait time was minimal. The doctor was informative and friendly. The nurse was fantastic. But.. I’ve been requesting a doctor’s note from them for over 24 hours. I have not been able to get the front desk to call me back. Now I have to drive back over there to get it, aside from that I would certainly use them again. But that front desk prevented them from receiving 5 stars.

Wait time (1 hour) was still too long given that there was only one person ahead of me waiting. Perhaps there were 2 people in exam rooms. I saw a PA-C, (Sohil Patel) who was great. He explained everything very clearly and was very nice. The young lady who attended me from beginning to time when the Physician Assistant, Sohil Patel, could see me, was friendly, caring and courteous. Sorry I didn’t get her name. I was there on Friday, 2/20 between 2:30-4:30.

This place is always behind. We arrived 20 minutes early for our appointment and waited in the reception area until our appointment time without even seeing anyone that worked there. Other people there with appointments told us they were three hours behind and counting. Don’t let people make appointments if you have no chance of meeting them. I’ll never return to this business.

Upon entering I felt comfortable. The location is clean, attractive and spacious. The staff were wonderful. My appointment was at 5:52pm. I was seen by 6:10pm. I had X-rays immediately and had results in 10 minutes. I was given treatment options and was checked out by 6:45. So much better than a regular MD or emergency room.
