Peachtree Immediate Care - Athens

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a business, Peachtree Immediate Care. I went in on a Monday in severe pain (I have endometriosis/PCOS). I was referred to American Health Imaging Athens for ultrasound. Peachtree only does urine tests. I was told when I left the imaging center on Wednesday at 1:30pm that I would have my results the same day, that Peachtree would call me with my results. It's the following Tuesday (6 days later) and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY RESULTS. I called Peachtree Friday since no contact had been made with me (except on Thursday, I received a text message that I would get a return call within 24hours). Staff is nice but process of being seen is kinda slow. Signed in around 8:15 and was 3rd in line. I was not seen until around 9:30 and left around 9:50. So if you’re trying to be in and out quicker I would definitely suggest having an appointment if possible or trying another care facility.

You couldn’t ask for a more professional and caring staff at Peachtree Immediate Care. From the check-in, Medical assistants, Denzel Wright, PA-C and checkout process, it was pure excellence. The results were called in to me in a timely manner by your competent and compassionate staff. I will definitely be returning for my medical needs in the future. After a Sunday morning fall that seemed worse than just a sprained ankle, I was relieved to find that Peachtree Immediate Care was open, and not very busy. They took me right in, did an X-ray, and confirmed that there was indeed a fracture. The PA gave me clear advice on how to care for the injury overnight and a referral for Monday. Staff was courteous and the environment pleasant.

My visit with Peachtree immediate care on Sunday was good. The big problem was that I had an appointment on Saturday and when I drove to the office I was informed that no Doctor had showed up. This was frustrating. Part of the frustration was that I had received a reminder to be on time at 8 AM. And when I arrived at 8:30 AM, there was no reason to have been on time. as an immediate care provider, the imperative is that you provide a service and don’t have sick people driving around when you are unable to fulfill your prime directive. The doctor I saw on Sunday was wonderful. Being sick all day Saturday and not making any progress towards getting better is very frustrating.
