Re-engineering movements, taking time to slow down and think about how to move, not being afraid to move - that is what Paul taught me over several weeks to lead me out of 22 months of constant back pain. One of his great gifts is to reconstruct movements so they become easier and more efficient. Paul cautioned me that the back pain (spasms in my case) may come back (he was right), but added that I would be able to get out the vicious cycle faster using the "toolbox" he taught - and he was right about that, too.
