Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Colonial Heights

From the time you walk through the front door the Staff is professional and courteous. The facility is clean and modern. My nurse for the day, Tiffany, was bright, personable and a pleasure to deal with. I had problems with my paperwork for my DOT physical and she worked right through it. I would recommend Dr. Acevedo to all my trucking associates for DOT procedures. He asks questions and cares for your health and well-being. You are certainly not a number in his view. I would recommend this facility to anyone!

I’m very impressed, I had a nice visit today at Patient First, there wasn’t a lot of ppl there so I was taken in like ten minutes after check-in. They ran all the possible test needed for my diagnosis gave me meds on site and refilled my prescriptions. What I liked best was the positive attitudes everyone had in there which made my day. I was impressed that all the staff were friendly and kind, many had smiles which made the atmosphere welcoming. Most doctor’s offices I’ve visited they never speak nor are they welcoming. On my way out every person I passed said I hope you feel better or I hope you have a better day which means a lot to ppl who are feeling down in the dumps. Thanks for being kind.

I had a great experience at Patient First today. Lacarol, the receptionist, was extremely helpful, patient, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Tiffany also assisted me and remained professional, kind, and attentive throughout the process. Their customer service truly made a difference and helped ease what could’ve been a stressful visit. Hateful condescending white coat acted simply bothered even before walking inside my room and approaching me. I could hear the detest in his voice. It is dehumanizing to say the least. He should not approach patients the way he did, it is downright disgraceful and disrespectful. I have many college degrees, I am not a bum by any means. I may have not been at my greatest, but hey, it’s a doctor’s office! Surprise! People do not pretty up when they don't feel good. Maybe he did not like my sweatpants? Was he threatened by my voice? He could barely fit inside his own lab coat. LOL. Sometimes I believe it’s best not to judge a book by its cover. Dr Jason James with Patient First was fantastic. It was my first visit seeing him and I was very impressed with my overall experience. He is highly knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions above and beyond most of my previous doctor’s visits. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.
