Over the course of my time going to this dentist office, every single filling I had done needed to be replaced since it had fallen out within days after getting it. Same thing with temporary crowns, which would often fall out hours later. Permanent crowns I had done from them (3 of them), all fell out and needed to be replaced by a different dentist office within just 2 and a half years. If I called concerning a severe toothache, they would call in antibiotics and then you were basically on your own from there. If you’re looking for a dentist office to go to, I would strongly advise you look elsewhere, unless you are willing to spend a lot of money fixing the same issues over and over until your tooth just ends up needing an extraction. I have been going to this dental practice for over 60 years, for cleanigins, fillings, crowns and tooth extractions. It's not always a pleasant experience having dental work done, but this family practice goes out of their way to make it as comfortable and caring as possible. I highly recommend them for all of you dental needs!

Worst place I've ever been to! It might have been a good place to go when the father ran the business, but the son is horrible! I had to go back 4 times in a matter of months to have him refill places where my gums had receded. The fillings had been in place for 20 years before they'd fallen out, put there by my prior dentist. The fillings I got at Patenaude felt grainy and chalky. After they fell out again, I decided they were incompetent and found someone else. They wanted to charge me $40 for my records. Seriously?! And I read in one of the reviews about the lady who keeps calling and doesn't leave a message. It's true, I felt like I was being stalked too. I have been going here for about 22 years now. I am normally very picky who I go to for doctor care and dentist care and am even willing to travel very far away for the best care. I find it very convenient that I have found such a great place to go that is only about 15 mins away from me. I feel here they treat you like people and are very kind and great at what they do. To make a higher point I did have one day of a stinky experience but that got turned around very fast. Recently I switched jobs so no insurance yet... I happen to get an insurance card in the mail early; a bit shocking. I brought that new insurance card I got to my appt and when they scanned it they mentioned my old job.
