We really wanted to support a local pharmacy but we have just had the most unpleasant experience here. None of the pharmacies in crozet take our insurance but we figured in some instances we could pay out of pocket. I had gone in when my child was sick to inquire about pricing and the women running the front was extremely unpleasant and acted annoyed by me asking about out of pocket pricing. So we just drove into charlottesville to get the prescription. Then today my husband went in to get a prescription because he was having trouble getting it filled at his regular pharmacy. He called prior to getting it filled to ask about the price he was told it would be 75$ which was already a little pricy but my husband was having issues getting it. Great, local pharmacy. They go out of their way to help you. They have a very diverse selection of ointments, lip balms, salves, vitamins, etc. Great selection for elder care.

In my experience, the staff and the pharmacist at Parkway Pharmacy provide an excellent level of service, and have great over the counter remedies, gifts and the best selection of greeting cards!
