Parkview Logansport Hospital

I cannot speak highly enough about our entire pregnancy and c-section experience at Logansport. Everyone from the Women’s Health nurses, L&D nurses, our doctor, and our anesthesiologist were absolutely phenomenal. I will deliver all my babies at Logansport, lord willing. 100/10 experience.

The care was very good. The only concern I had I was discharged without having a BM for 5 days ( 3dsys post op). When I expressed concern I was told I could poop there or at rehab. Told admitting facility and they started their protocol but no mention. Of what had already been done at Parkview. Result was pain nausea and did not have a BM for 8 days.

My primary care doctors are absolutely fantastic, so I took a leap of faith and scheduled an operation with the podiatrist, Dr. Marsh. I was told I could return to work the next day. Fast forward to pre-op, pain medication was called in for me and I was told I was going to be very sore for several days. I was off work for a week. Thank goodness I have an understanding employer, because I could have lost my job. I expressed this concern to Dr. Marsh at my suture removal appt, he flat out stated “If I told patients it could be one day or one week, it would scare them off.” He works for a corporation, he is getting paid regardless of whether he does my surgery or not. When you go into your doctor's office. The lady checking you in does NOT look professional it's all the piercings and non natural hair color. The chairs you set in are scratched and looks like a cat scratching post. Come on Parkview Logansport Hospital. Put some money into the place and look more professional in people and equipment.

Monday October 6th I took my sister to the er. She was there for 25 hours before she could be transferred . All of the er staff were wonderful. We very much appreciate doctor Mike and all the staff that took care of her. Thank you!
