Parkridge Medical Center

We are here waiting while my husband is having a procedure done. Everything is wonderful here! The staff is super nice nurses and Dr Allan are wonderful!!! We had to be here very early so we did not have time to eat! We went to the cafeteria (which doesn’t open until 11) and all they have is beef, rice, green beans and loaded potato soup! No salad bar no grill open! This is a pour excuse for a cafeteria!! At least a salad bar should be open for vegetarians and people who would like to eat healthy!! So the hospital is wonderful just don’t expect to eat here!

I love this hospital and all their staff. At a horrible time in my life, when I was very sick, I had already been to one hospital which sucked I couldn't get no results out of them so I got up and walked out and went to Park ridge ,and within 30 minutes they had done figured out that one of my kidneys had shrunk to the point it was no longer working. They took me in and kept me for 14 days and figured out my health problems even tho I had no insurance. Not one time did anyone come in and make me feel unwanted. Every doctor every nurse, down to the janitors never made me feel unwanted. They were very professional and very caring. When I came home they made me feel like part of their family. And I will never forget that. And would recommend this hospital to everyone. Thank you Parkridge medi

You asked: the good: post and pre-op, pt, Alex night nurse. Food was good, coffee awful. I had to stay the night because of a blood clotting disorder. I saw the floor nurse at 2pm, never saw her again. I was not brought any water, I was not given the spirometer ( I found it on the windowsill the next day). The leg massagers were in my legs but never hooked up. No one looked at my incision. I stayed in the same crumpled sheets and blankets from post op. I felt blood should have been drawn. Alex the night nurse was really helpful. I am not a complainer, but the patient care was lacking to me. Everyone was nice just not very helpful.

I had a great experience at Parkridge Medical Center. The staff was extremely friendly, communicated clearly, and truly focused on my current health concerns. They were thorough in evaluating my condition and performing the necessary tests to assess my health. I appreciated the personalized care plan they provided. I left feeling well-informed, genuinely cared for, and confident about my health status. I highly recommend them‼️

The anesthesiologist was very polite. I had an endoscopy and also took a biopsy. Everything was done under sedation. Thank you.
