My father went here after being in two other care facilities in 3 months, this was by far the most friendly staff my dad and myself have seen inside these facilities. The nurses aide, a 46 year old black woman (wish I knew her name), working in the 400 hallway, was the nicest woman I have ever met in the medical field. You could tell she genuinely cared for all her patients and enjoyed their company. She definitely deserves recognition for her hospitality and her 20+ year experience in the field. This is a very big facility and everywhere we went the medical staff was friendly and would ask how our day was going, which made my dads stay a little more tolerable as he loves conversation. Thank you park lane care center and thanks to that aide for being the best of three care centers for my f

I had my mom at Parklane, first for PT, then, for full time residency over the past 7 months. Yes, the building is need of updates. But it was always clean. And a chandelier in the hall does not automatically equate to a caring staff. Which, is THE MOST IMPORTANT thing. During out time there, we were always greeted with friendly faces and people that were happy to help. We did have an extra layer of care, as my mom is on hospice. Overall, we were very pleased with the attention/care she received from Parklane staff. As with any place, you get what you give. We were involved and present. And we came to love and appreciate all of the staff in the Haven House wing. Special shout out to Taneal from Mom! Ultimately, we moved my mom to a location that was closer to family. Thank you, Parklane, f

I think the reviews are a little harsh. I will update my review if things change but here it is for now... My FIL has been here for about a month after having a stroke. I won't lie there were some minor bumps in the beginning, but a month in and everything is falling into place. I do recommend being as involved as possible in the first 2-4 weeks. While the building is definitely old and run down, there is something to say about good staff. I have made great connections with several people that work there and my FIL has even more staff members that he constantly raves to me about. He has full mental capacity, is young (59) and is the kind of guy to not hesitate to tell me if something was wrong or if he wasn't treated well. Also, I have tried his lunch several time (10+) and never did I th

My brother was a patient here. He was put on hospice care. The facility assigned him without my permission and research. They were totally incapable of handling end of life care. I regret not calling 911 the week he passed away. The staff treated him so rudely that week. It was reported to the Director of Nursing. Nothing was done. Do not let your loved go to this facility.

Unfortunately I had my mom there so that she would be closer to me an I could visit more often we lasted less than a month. I should have moved her sooner then I did. THE WORKES told me I should get her out of there. Sorry I did not listen an move immediately. They do not want you to have a say in anything what so ever. Even the Doctor mentioned he had to tiptoe around 1 or more of the nurses there. The nurses seem to have more say than the Doctors. The problem goes beyond the nurses the women in charge is a piece of cake not only does she nott want to work with family members she talks down to the workers there an makes it next to impossible for any worker to get unemployment. I went as far as reporting all that had happened to my mom an my encounters an it went no where. I only ga
