Park West Pharmacy

Count your pills, make sure you received all of it when you pickup your prescription! I have been using this pharmacy for almost a decade, and had mostly good experiences before the last one, when I received 34 pills missing from a bottle of 90. For several years I only had great experiences with this pharmacy, then a couple years ago I encountered one pharmacist with very unprofessional behavior, it happened a few times, but he isn’t working there often. One time he dared to scold me, snapped at me telling me to “put the phone down when you’re talking to me” as I was looking for the details of my prescription from my medical chart on my phone. I had to have a script transferred here from home and the girl that helped me was soooo patient and kind!! I wish I would have gotten her name so I could mention it. This was on a saturday (1/17) too. Great service.

They look nice, and I like supporting a local pharmacy, but it is hard to get information about prescription pickups-- they are not always accurate. For example, today, they told me around 1pm that my prescription was ready, but when my wife went to pick it up, they didn't have it. I really can't recommend this pharmacy as a place to pick up prescriptions, but I hope they get better and figure things out. I think the main reason they struggle to communicate consistently is that they have to coordinate with another pharmacy, West Side Pharmacy, as this location is not able to directly take insurance.

A lovely neighborhood pharmacy. If you don’t feel like going to one of the big chains, Park West has one of basically whatever you’re looking for.

Easy to do business with, kind and friendly. Don’t really get the negative reviews. My experience has only been great. Let’s support local busjness
