Leaving this review specifically for Erin Hutchinson, the aesthetician I was assigned for the process of electrodessication. She was so nice, helpful, very clearly educated, and answered all of my many questions. Truly so appreciative of her and am amazed by my results (and more confident too)! Will be back, if need be :)

I recently visited this practice after being referred by my rheumatologist to evaluate a possible autoimmune rash. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The dermatologist Dr. Dehart did not perform any meaningful examination of my scalp or skin. Despite explaining twice that my rheumatologist needed dermatology to help rule out cutaneous lupus, the doctor repeatedly insisted that “lupus should have been diagnosed through bloodwork,” which is medically inaccurate. Cutaneous lupus often requires visual evaluation or biopsy, not just labs. He did not part my hair, touch my scalp, or examine the area where my previous rash had been. I offered photos of the rash, and he glanced briefly and said he “couldn't tell,” without offering follow up, options for monitoring, or guid

I had a good experience with Dr Buehler until I had to cancel an appointment. Then I wasn't able to schedule with her anymore and I was moved to Dr Dehart who has plenty of availability since he is the worst rated dermatologist in the Hampton Roads area. I was just passed along with no communication. I reached out to Dr Buehler and never got a response. Most would consider this patient abandonment but I guess they get around it by funneling patients to the worst one in the practice. It is actually more convenient to drive 9 hours to see my old dermatologist in Ohio than to deal with this clinic chain. Very shady practices here.

This my first MOHs surgery and I had reservations. But after I met Dr Cowart I knew I was in good hands. He was concerned and took time to explain every thing as he went along. He reassured me afterwards that everything went well. He told me what I needed to do before I returned in a week for checkup and removal of stitches. I highly recommend if you need to have cancel cells removed on your face. Thank you Dr Cowart.

Pariser Dermatology is a great practice. I am always treated with kindness. They truly care about their patients and provide outstanding service.
