PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount

I am happy to say I am very pleased with the level of care my husband received while in Pam Health Specialty Hospital of Rocky Mount NC. The staff has been very patient and supportive with my husband and family. The building is clean inside and out. The food in cafeteria is delicious. The nurses are very attentive they work hard to keep the patients happy especially Joshua, Georgia and Ashley. The case managers here are the absolute best making sure phone calls are made and following up with me about discharge planning. The therapy team are awesome making sure my husband was prepared for activities for daily living. I am so thankful that we were able to come to this hospital. Sincerely, Maria Sherrod

The care here is honestly the best care I’ve seen in any hospital. The woundcare nurses have honestly became my best friends and family!! The dietician's are so lovely and sweet, the ones I’ve encountered are Diane and Glenda. They are the sweetest things ever. The nurses and doctors are very sweet as well! I give this place a 5 star rating! My 3 months here have been remarkable.

I receive excellent care here. All the nurses and aides are very nice. There are some that have become my favorites. I also receive excellent care from the physical therapy team. I Feel like I’m in good hands. I think Dr. Shiver however, is a bully. She interrupts and / or overtalks me. She talks down to me and tells me I have no memory and that she is going to start recording me. She doesn’t tell me anything about my bloodwork or how I’m doing. Michael the PA is the same but he has better bedside manner. I feel like they need to talk to their patients more. I feel neglected in a way because they come in, listen to my heart and walk out most of the time.

The staff at Pam Health did a phenomenal job exhibiting the highest quality of professionalism during my visit on yesterday from Lea Funeral Home. Mrs. Angie Baker and the entire staff were very helpful during the transition. This is the standard that each facility should strive to achieve.
