PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wausau

Pam's is the best rehap facility I've been to. If you go there you will get the therapy you need. Yes they push you hard. This is a place that wants you to recover not do nothing. Yes alot of people don't like it. It is what I needed. The staff the nurses, cnas are there to help you. I am one that needed that stern approach. But it works. Also bad addatued makes for rough time anywhere. They are there to help you. Please help them help you. You will go home with a better life. Thank you Pam's. I understand I'm in profession that gives me the ability to make people smile. I try to bring the smiles if I'm dressed or not. Like I said earlier you and only you can make your stay at Pam's better for you.

Nurses, Olivia and Mara. We're awesome. Took extra time to help with my care cna Cassie. Helped immensely. With my progress in my journey, The food in the facility was the best I have ever had in a facility. Doctor mamood even checked on me on the weekends. I as well as dr michaels. I would recommend this facility to any one and everyone. Awesome job to everyone. Thank you for you're care and support.. I even got hugs and a cookie when I left.It made my day. Also, case manager karen went above and beyond to try to place me into the next facility.

I had a TIA (small stroke) I was admitted to PAM hospital for faster rehabilitation and recovery they hav 3 hour therapy sessions every day (I’ve been in physical therapy with Andy he was awesome he gave me the willpower and insight I needed to understand that I can get better and it’s ok to ask for help now. I want to thank all of the clinical staff at Pam Health & Rehab Hospital in Wausau WI, I just left there) Yesterday 11/23/25 and was there for almost a week, due to a stroke. I also want to thank those that work preparing food and that's important as me being a vegetarian. Also, the ones that kept the rooms cleaned for everything. They all were amazing & awesome and thank you for that awesome card that everyone signed and the cookies as I left to go home. Could not have been sent to a better place. Thank you so much. I actually felt sad while leaving, cause of the cool people and friends I met & made while I was there and how you are treated. You all were all amazing. I will definitely miss yall

I am so thankful that my wife discovered PAM Health! While I was recovering from a stroke in Indianapolis, She found PAM online so that I could get the inpatient rehab that I so badly needed. They were easy to work with and they worked with our insurance company to get the certification process started. The staff were waiting for me on the day of my arrival as my wife had to drive me all the way up from Indianapolis. Once I was there they made me feel rght at home! The PT staff andOT staff were excellent and were instrumental in getting me back to walking again as well as addressing some of my visual deficits. They worked me hard to make sure I got back the strength I needed to walk, stand, and get back home safely when I was ready to discharge. I can't thank them all enough! I am a
