PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tavares

My husband came here through the recommendation of a friend after leaving the hospital. It is a wonderful facility. Pam rehab rehabilitation is like the Marriott of rehabs. It’s super clean, looks new, the rooms are all private with a private bathroom. The rooms have a nice picture window with a view and an extra sink outside the bathroom. The rooms actually look like a hotel room, but a little bit more medical. The care is great. The nurses and doctors are kind and thorough. They assist you with anything you need. They gave my husband a wonderful menu to choose from where we were able to pick his meals. The quality of the food was good. Everything down to the rehabilitation was great. Dr Heather Rader is a fantastic physical therapist! She is an expert in her field. She knows the science - the hows and whys of the body. She is an excellent teacher who can explain very complex ideas in an understandable, and joyful manner. She has wonderful observational skills that gives her the ability to individualize therapy to each person's needs. My PT with Dr Rader has not only given me immediate and immense improvement, she has given me hope. Thank you, Dr Rader!

After spending 20 days in the hospital following a ruptured appendix with complications, I was admitted to PAM Rehabilitation of Tavares., I have nothing but positive thoughts about my stay. The doctors, nursing staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietary staff, housekeeping, support staff, etc., were all phenomenal. I have absolutely zero complaints. I hope I I am never that ill again, but PAM Rehabilitation of Tavares would be my first choice if I needed therapy to get back on my feet.

My 94 year young Dad fell and fractured back. He was having difficulty walking after not being able to stand or walk for several weeks. He is now walking in his home without assistance. My 83 year old father was a patient at PAM for 14 days of rehabilitation after complications from open heart surgery. The staff was very loving and patient with my Dad and with our family as we insisted on having at least 2 of us there nearly all times! We are especially grateful for Lina RRT; Bernard, Senior PT; Marisara, OT. Speech, dietary, the nursing staff, and aides, especially JoAnne, treated us like their own family. The PT doctor took enough interest to speak encouragement to my Dad while we were taking him for a stroll around the outdoor area. And the Pulmonologist absolutely changed the trajectory of my Dad's recovery by speaking a little hard truth about his attitude and participation in therapies!
