PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Orange City

I brought my dad to PAM from a Rehab in New York City in which he was transferred to from the hospital after a fall which led to a broken hip in late December. He was in this Rehab for almost two months deteriorating painfully and slowly. Our family made the decision to transfer him here to our home in Florida, where he could try to heal and gain back some sort of former self. It was a painful process and our thoughts were he would not make it. However, I share this to let as many as possible know that there is HOPE. PAM is that hope. I had such a wonderful experience at the new pam health rehabilitation hospital of orange city, Florida. Extremely well run, efficiently plus, excellent employees. Two gyms, 42 hospital rooms, cafeteria for guests and many great features. Best thing ever happened to orange city.

This is where we put my MIL after we got her out of the hellhole in Longwood that I recently reviewed. THIS is where you should take your loved one for short term rehab. They are all very friendly, welcoming and answer the call bell in a reasonable amount of time. My MIL had a stroke 3 months ago and the progress she has made since we got her here is incredible. State of the art facility, therapists that know what they're doing and dont cause her pain like the other place did. They give her the confidence that she needs to be doing things on her own or with very little help. Nurses and aides come in just to make sure all is well all on their own, they are friendly, talk to the family and answer questions with a smile. In the past 11 years I have been a patient in 10 different Rehabilitation facilities due to different injuries. My family knowing what the other facilities and incidents that I dealt with in them asked how PAM was like. Ten of the ones I I have been in were rated between a 1.5 -2.5 and one of them was a 3.5 rating. I honestly was able to give PAM a 5.0. There never was even one incident that I could complain about. The nursing and CNA staff were always helpful and pleasant. Occupational and Physical Therapy were kind and patient and helped me work through my insecurities about standing! The doctors and and administration went the extra mile just to make sure I had the needed care. Even the kitchen worked extra hard to work with the foods I could eat. Thank you PAM for caring enoug

Our family had the best experience at PAM when a family member was in rehab for a broken hip. The facility is new and a wonderful place to visit. The nurses, aids and others were available to answer questions as needed and provided excellent care. Kristee in discharge was especially helpful and caring with making sure a challenging situation had the best outcome.
