Today I had an appointment with Dr. Rafeal Lopez. He is an extremely competent doctor who takes time to listen to his patients and explain to them what’s going on with their health issues so they can clearly understand. Today, I had a lot of questions for Dr. Lopez, and he was kind, and patient with me while I explained my concerns. He then helped me feel more comfortable with my concerns and even took extra time to look up a previous exam I had to ensure everything was ok. I left the appointment feeling much better about my situation. Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the doctor’s PA Carlos. On the days that doctor Lopez is not available, I have seen Carlos. So, I wanted a new Urology group who had the experience I was seeking. First time visit - Dr. Sawh was great - funny, charismatic and the willingness to listen. The ultrasound tech was extremely nice as well. Here's the problem with this group! I had to pay my HSA deductible first, even though I told them to bill Anthem first since a urology check-up is free for a male thru my insurance plan. No dice they said - so I paid the $282 hospitably unwillingly. After the total bill was submitted to Anthem, I had the Anthem representative call their billing office. We talked to "Matilin" about taking off the doctor charge since it was free thru my plan. Matilin was one of the most impolite people as an office manager and did not comprehend what the Anthem rep was saying, nor did she want to come t

I'm really not sure how this place has patients. They are horrible at scheduling, everytime I have an appointment I'm waiting for 2 hours before being called back. You call on the phone they either have a bad attitude or a language barrier. But they are really good at collecting fees upfront or you get no services. But after more than 15 years having Lopez and Carlos as my providers, I'm done, I'm looking for a new local Urologist. The older they get the less attention they give you, their bed side manners are regressing and Carlos has not progressed with our times. Still ordering outdated tests. ✌️

My apptmt was at 2 pm, called in at 2:05, the staff was very courteous, prompt, and professional! I was given my tests, explained my results to my understanding and given date for my my next apptmt! Out in about 30 minutes! Would not even consider another Urology doctor!! ( No, I am not employed here, nor is a member of my family!)

I was very impressed with the new sitting area furniture and pictures that decorated the waiting area. The team is always receives a five star rating on customer service, knowledge and compassion. However, in my last visit the waiting room needed an upgrade and I am so happy that they completed the renovations before my visit this week. Bravo on a job well done!
