PA Retina

I brought someone in for laser surgery. We sat for 1 1/2 hours before she was called back. Only to be given a second injection and sent back out to the waiting room with tge entire room full of people waiting. Some are coming and going. There is a lot of complaining going on while we all wait. One gentleman said he had to wait 8 hours one day before being seen. I could see if this was an occasional issue, but it is every time we come in. It seems they load the appointments and everyone just sits and waits their turn. Some days there are barely any parking spaces available. The doctors seem to be very good at what they do, but they don’t appreciate the fact that some people don’t have the time to spend waiting around all day for a “scheduled” appointment! This is the most positive, kind, well managed ophthalmologist I've ever used. Because I have extensive eye injuries, I have been to six practices across PA and spend hundreds of hours in opthamologists' offices. It is difficult find a well-educated, competent and kind doctors who can manage my care. I have finally found that at PA Retina Specialists. Dr. Truong is highly experienced, welcoming and deeply compassionate. After five years of dreading my appointments, it is refreshing to find someone who can clearly explain my status and a treatment plan who is also kind and fun. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I accompanied an elderly relative to this office for an eye injection. He appears to like and is comfortable with the doctor performing the exam. However, overall I found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful. First impressions are everything and I would want staff representing my place of business to have a more positive vibe. Not impressed at all!

Dr. Truong was awesome. From the moment he stepped into the room I felt I was important to him. He was over the top friendly. My hubby and I were both impressed with how he greeted us, explained everything in terms we could both understand. He was thorough and knowledgeable.
