Owings Mills Pediatrics

My daughter is a new patient at this practice. We decided on this practice due to it being closer to us. I really like the provider that she is seeing, however the assistant was not welcoming. She did not introduce herself, did not greet my child, and she just seemed absolutely miserable. I think she spoke two sentences to us. If you are working with patients especially children you should try to at least fake a good attitude. It’s such a shame that the staff that give the first impressions of a practice lack people skills. I plan to return for her next appointment but I might go back to her previous office if we don’t have a nicer experience the next time.

Owings Mills Pediatrics is the best Pediatric office in the area. Every pediatrician here demonstrates great expertise and commitment in their work. Dr. George, Dr. Cardin and N.P Christine all are very competent and provide excellent care. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. My kids loves to make appointments with N.P Christine. 😂 Its been 11 years years we're visiting this office and never have any complaints. Highly recommended.

We love doctor George so much, she is an amazing doctor, so kind and remembers everything plus our two boys love her. I only give three stars because of the front desk lady whose tone in dealing with exhausted parents who are just doing their best is horrible. She seems organized but she should not be interfacing with clients. Literally brought me to tears with her tone because we got our appointment date wrong and came on next day by accident - she listed off all the alerts we received and the dates we got them and missed them then added on we are getting charged a missed appointment fee. There is a lot going on in the world and you never know what someone is dealing with so maybe just be kind to others?

I took my son here after complaining about throat pain for 5 days and he saw Dr. Cardin. When he came into the room, we didn’t get as much as a hello or a smile and he immediately went into wanting to know the problem. As I was talking, there was no eye contact. As my son was talking to him he didn’t even acknowledge that. He asked my 6 year old to open his mouth so he could stick the q-tip down his throat to check for strep and instead of being patient with him, he grabbed him by the arm and forced it down his throat to which my son was horrified and began sobbing. As a mother, this infuriated me. The doctor we saw since he was born closed his office and we had to find another doctor and we NEVER had such a horrible experience. I do not recommend this office to new moms or current moms. Dr. Mfon was the ONLY reason I felt very confident that my newborn and teen would be in good care. As my husband and I attended this facility, here are certain flags we came across: 1. We attended 3 appointments not with Dr. Mfon, because she was unavailable after my newborn was born. So we went with Dr. Christine, her interaction with us was not welcoming. She was very friendly to my newborn, informed us what we needed to know about our baby and referred to a specialist which seemed to be in her benefits. In addition, she mentioned her credentials as a lactation specialist which seemed to her benefits again. No warnings of the cost for these provided services nor provide any options to avoid any financial circumstances after giv
