I came in here for a sharp object/bone that felt stuck in my throat/tonsils but was disappointed by the overall experience and a bit concerned. When Dr Patty Lee came in she didn’t really greet me and just went straight to asking me about what happened. I explained to her I felt there was bone or something in my mouth. She said so you swallowed a meatball? And I was taken aback because I never said that. Throughout the experience I felt she was being somewhat condescending/cold and it made me feel more anxious and uncomfortable since my concerns felt dismissed. I told her I felt pain on the left side and she said “I don’t need you to tell me that.” It was a jarring experience. Dr. Bahadori is the best. He has been taking care of my daughter for her very frequent nose bleeds. Not only he is an incredibly knowledgeable doctor but also his presence is so calming. My daughter went through multiple in office and operating room procedures and he always been amazing, caring and skilled.

2/7/2026 Yesterday I visited Otolaryngology Associates on University Drive Fairfax VA and am happy to report that Dr. Park and Maria were excellent in all respects. Dr. Park was quite thorough in evaluating my hearing and Maria did an excellent job cleaning out my ears. Consequently my hearing has improved and I am quite happy visiting this practice. Excellent job ladies.

I had an exceptionally poor experience with this clinic. My first appointment was canceled just a few days before by the clinic after waiting weeks. They rescheduled me in a different office. I called for the new appointment to let them know my child was running 15 min behind, and the scheduling service told me to come in anyway, and it wouldn't be a problem. When we arrived for the second appointment, my toddler and I were checked in and kept waiting for nearly 45 min only to be told AGAIN that we were canceled, and we should reschedule a THIRD time. Seriously? No thanks. It was a complete waste of time. I will find another provider with better service and scheduling that values it's patients. If this is how people are treated, then I don't trust them with caring for my child.

Lesson learned here: if your child wakes up with a fever, hacking cough, and thick green snot coming out of their nose, just bring them to their apt anyway and get the entire office sick because if you do the decent thing and cancel, they will bill you $200 dollars. I’ll never understand how people can work with kids and have a zero tolerance cancellation policy for illness. Also, the lack of check in or follow up after surgery is alarming. They’re basically like “see you in a month” and you’re on your own. Lastly, their scheduler is a mess. Trying to get in touch pre-surgery was a headache, and post-surgery she scheduled me for an appointment time different than the one I agreed to on the phone (which I immediately marked in my phone, work, and desktop calendars before even hanging up).
