Orthopedic Urgent Care

I’m very disappointed with Dr. Troy’s team. Dr. Troy is a great doctor, but unfortunately, his staff is extremely unprofessional and lacks proper communication skills. The manager, in particular, was very rude and dismissive. I came to this office after being in an accident, and I don’t believe this is the way patients should be treated. I had to call at least five times about my diagnostic results and prescriptions, and each time the manager had an attitude, spoke to other people while I was on the phone, and was generally unhelpful. She even made a comment about my age, saying she wasn’t going to argue with a 19-year-old, which I found very inappropriate and unprofessional. No one deserves poor service because of their age. ⭐️ 1 Star — If I Could Give Zero, I Would This office delivered some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. From the moment I walked in, I was not greeted, not acknowledged, and completely ignored by the front desk. After signing in, I waited 20 minutes to be called back, only to be placed in an exam room and left there for 45 minutes with zero communication. I eventually opened the door and walked out because no one checked on me, no one apologized, and honestly, no one even seemed to notice or care that I was still waiting. We had the privilege of seeing Dr. Troy. Not only was Dr. Troy incredibly thorough in explaining my son’s injury, but he also went above and beyond in caring for my son emotionally. When my son learned that his injury would take him out of his football season, he was devastated. Dr. Troy consoled him with the most encouraging pep talk—reminding him that this is not the end, and that he will grow stronger from this experience. As a mom, it meant so much to see a doctor truly take the time to lift my son’s spirits in such a difficult moment. On top of that, Dr. Troy even took the initiative to call around and find a surgeon for us. His compassion, dedication, and encouragement made all the difference for our family. Fix your google hours. It says they are open on weekends. We drove 30 minutes to get there only to find out that is not the case. The door says to call a phone number nights and weekends. But all she was able to tell us is they are open on Monday.

This business is misrepresenting their availability on their Google hours. Called on a Saturday at 830 am bc my partner is injured. I was told they are closed on Saturdays and sundays, that their hours are actually 8-5 mon-fri. This really defeats the purpose of having "urgent" in their name. Luckily, there is an orthopedic urgent care office in WPB that can care for him today and doesnt lie on their Google profile.
