I don't normally leave a poor review - but my experience today is worth reporting. I work in the healthcare industry - specifically building referral-based multi-specialty practices, so I know what due diligence is required when submitting and receiving a referred patient. My PCP referred me for a serious degenerative spinal issue (I'm in pain daily) for consult and treatment. I called the office to make an appointment stating I had an MRI and referral for consultation. I gave specific details of the appointment and what occurred with my PCP. The appointment was booked 1 month out while the coordinator said "we will take it from here". I live in MA, and am not close to this practice in CT. The only contact I received from OSP, was to fill out my new patient paperwork. No one called me to

This Avon office has hit the jackpot with its staff. I’ve utilized the Avon branch of Ortho Speedpass multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed in the care I’ve received. The front desk staff is consistently pleasant, caring, and courteous ~every stinking time! The practitioners are kind, knowledgeable and proficient. PA Mark Cloutier took time to educate me, treat me, and write down some U Tube channels where I could find specific exercises to help my condition (Patella Maltracking and Patellofemoral Syndrome). I have been seen by multiple providers here due to injuries. Love that they can schedule you in within a couple of days. The entire staff here is very welcoming. The PAs and surgeons are very kind, and take the time to listen to you and explain everything carefully.

Post surgical appointment with Alison following knee replacement. She showed me my xray, responded to all my questions, asked me about my rehab process and advised me about my meds, PT and what to expect in future weeks. Alison was both professional and personable.I left feeling informed as well as optimistic about my recovery

In mid-July I broke my finger while hiking Mt Jackson in New Hampshire and was told by the physician in the ED to follow-up with an orthopedist. We were returning to CT at the end of the week so I had no idea who I was going to see. Someone at work recommended OSP in Avon because they do take walk-in appointments. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I was roomed a short time after completing my paperwork.
