Orthopedic Associates of Hartford

I got a traumatic injury to my left foot at work. At first I went to an orthopedic urgent care and had xrays. The doctor who saw me there basically dismissed me, saying it was pretty much nothing. It felt like it was more than nothing. After seeing my primary provider, she agreed more testing was necessary. She ordered an MRI and WC found this place for an evaluation. It should be noted that not all places take WC for payment, so I was grateful. The radiologist who read the MRI didn't seem to see much either, but I continued to have symptoms well after the incident. It wasn't until I saw Audrey Apanovitch, APRN, that I finally got some answers. As a retired paramedic and long time athlete and very active senior, I know my body and knew something was wrong. Unprofessional service. Really disappointed. When I reached for my appointment I was told Doctor is in Hartford today and asked to see him there. When I showed appointment booking for south windsor location, then non chalantly said some Mondays he is here and some in Hartford so there might be some miscommunication. I took leave from office and drove all the way up there and then no accountability.
