I’ve had an amazing experience at The Athlete’s PT in South Windsor! From the very start, my PT provider, Elise, made me feel truly seen and heard. She acknowledged all my concerns and focus areas, which was such a contrast to my experiences at two other PT spaces that didn’t feel as intentional. Elise guided me through each problem area with incredible knowledge of the body and mechanics, creating a personalized home exercise program that I can continue on my own. I came in struggling with one leg weaker than the other, constant lower back pain, and knee pain, and Elise addressed each issue thoughtfully and effectively. Every visit includes helpful check-ins, and over time, I’ve developed a great friendship with her. I genuinely look forward to every appointment! Genevieve and her team

Julianna is an expert at what she does as well as a wealth of knowledge. After 4 years of dealing with ankle pain, Julianna quickly diagnosed and treated the issue – in just a few visits. Then she moved on to my neck and back. I’m extremely needle-averse but, when she convinced me to try dry needling, it was amazing the relief it offered. She followed up with rehabilitating exercises and an abundance of education around what was likely causing my issues so I could become more aware of my movements. I would recommend her to anyone! Pain relief. Progressive exercises to strengthen and correct issues. And education to boot. What more could one ask for?

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Dr. Julianna Lusk at The Athlete's PT. I've suffered from chronic pain for years, both in my upper traps and in my sacral joint. Both had been waived off as postural issues, since I work a computer-heavy job. But Jules was the first practitioner to actually hear me when I voiced my concerns. I already see a personal trainer twice a week, and was tired of being treated by other practices like I was just a case of sedentary lifestyle. Jules did a full assessment and clocked some major contributing issues that nobody else had bothered to look into, including hyper mobility. Jules worked directly with my trainer to help adapt my workouts to target different areas, all in addition to providing her own exercise program, and providing me with dry

I wanted to consolidate my strong endorsement for "The Athletes Physical Therapist & Performance" (TAPT&P), specifically Genevieve. My recovery from the significant shoulder injury in 2025 was a game-changer, utterly transforming my view of physical therapy. My past experiences with PT were often impersonal, failing to acknowledge my unique needs or athletic aspirations. Genevieve at THPT&P completely flipped that narrative. Her meticulous, holistic approach focused entirely on *me*, crafting a rehabilitation plan that resonated with my active lifestyle. This wasn't just about mending an injury; it was about empowering my full potential. Within three months, I was well on the road to recovery, and a year out, I'm not just back to nearly 99% of my previous activities, but I feel demonstra

After sustaining an injury in the gym, Jules helped me immediately. She assessed the issue easily and was clear about what steps should be taken in recovery. I have felt confident in my return to my workouts and am glad to have The Athletes’ Physio in my corner!
