Scheduled to see Dr. st Claire but was seen by the physician assistant with no prior knowledge of this. She was thorough but felt slighted that I was not told before hand. Please let patients know before hand that they will not be seeing the physician they made an appointment with.

My 4-year-old son was seen at OIO for a broken finger and was told it would heal on its own with splinting. After getting a second opinion at Dayton Children’s Hospital, we were told his finger was displaced and rotated and will not correct as he grows, and that surgery is required to prevent long-term dysfunction. The provider Joseph Misson at OIO was not patient with my frightened child, who clearly explained that his finger hurt and that he could not bend it on his own. He was scared of a new doctor and didn’t want his finger touched when it was hurt, but would allow him to look at it. Dayton Children’s was compassionate, thorough, and addressed the injury appropriately. We will be continuing care there. The lady at the front desk and nurse was extremely nice to my kid. Thank you :)))

Caleb does a great job of listening to understand symptoms and what may have occured to cause the problem. He provides attentive care and orders appliciable imaging, tests and provides options for treatment.

Annie was fantastic! She was patient, informative, and took the time to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend!
