I knew better then to go to Mercer health but was in that area and my son had fever of 105 and had not had a wet diaper in over 12 hours and had not drank in 16 hours. Of course they had to do blood and I asked them to please put iv so he would not be poked twice because I knew he would need fluids. They said the doctor did not want to because he is autistic and would just pull it out. An hour later Dr Cameron comes in looking extremely unprofessional and says his lab work is great!!!!! We’re gonna give him a shot of rochepin and send you home. While I was waiting I received all of his labs via mychart. If his labs were great why was he getting a shot? Mercer Health...You need to do something about your prices!! Took my 1 year old to Urgent Care. The Provider diagnosed him with Influenza B. $915.02 later. We have insurance, but even after insurance, it's still showing we owe around $800. RIDICULOUS!! Talk about a small town Hospital with big city pricing. This is why some People are hesitant about going to the Doctor. Nothing but GREED!!!

I brought my sister to this hospital for outpatient surgery. The staff have been incredibly kind, calming and knowledgeable. My sister reports that staff/doctors have been extremely accommodating to her every need. (She said that she is especially thankful that the staff told her she did not say anything stupid while under anesthesia...😂😂)

Very well maintained hospital. Have had good experiences with doctors and nurses. Except for one delivery nurse. Was very rude, came in room and ripped blanket off me while i was asleep. I was very sick. She said I wasn't to use this blanket . She could have woken me and asked nicely. I should have said something then. There is no reason for this.

The ER doctor we encountered is a joke..my 10 year old son came in doubled over with pain in his stomach. He couldn't stand up straight without excruciating pain. He has a history of stomach issues so this was a big deal to us. Reception and nurses were worried for him since some of his symptoms matched up with appendicitis. Doctor comes in and checks him out, ROLLS HIS EYES and says he's just constipated. Threw the chart on the bed and walked out. My son was mortified and embarrassed. Y'all need to work on your bedside manner, your job isn't a joke. If you're not happy with small town care, find a big city to cure your boredom. I'm sure they would appreciate the help.
