UNPROFESSIONAL and UNCARING Experience at DR. (MRS) MCGUIRE’s Office/Locust Grove, VA This experience deserves "ZERO STARS" but I had to make this selection in order to post my review! I recently moved to the area and was searching for a new optometrist for my family and me. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. McGuire's office was nothing short of appalling. I initially spoke with Carrie, who assured me she would verify my insurance and call me back the next day. That conversation happened on a Tuesday. By late Wednesday afternoon, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called the office and left a message with my contact information. Two days passed with no response. Finally, I called again, and this time, DR. MCGUIRE herself answered the phone. I politely introduced myself, explained

Very friendly staff. However, after I got my glasses made there, I accidentally damaged my glasses, and I got back to them to have it replaced. The insurance had the glasses under warranty and it made it through the requisites to have it replaced. The customer service desk denied that the insurance would cover it, and that I had to pay full price for a new pair of glasses, even though the insurance company insured my glasses, whether they were damaged or lost, and that they would be paid for.

Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend! Dr John McGavin will see you straight (pun intended).
