Option Care Health

I have been on at home hydration therapy for my first trimester of pregnancy. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with option care I would not recommend them to anyone. They are extremely disorganized and lack communication skills to their patients. I constantly felt like I was out of the loop with my at home health care. The very first nurse I had was not kind at all she always seemed miserable and she smelled like she smoked a pack a day. The IV lines she would put in which where supposed to last at least 72hours always blew within 2 hours of being placed. She always seemed super inconvenienced when she had to come place a new line. I also feel like option cares call staff never knew anything they were very disorganized on multiple occasions I would be waiting for my new delivery

If it were possible to have a -5 star rating this company well deserves it. Option (to) Care Health, as they're known in our home, is inconsistant, unreliable, unorganized, unskilled, and unaccountable. We have been receiving their services for over a year so I feel qualified to review them. I am going to present my facts and let you decide if my opinions are indeed, more fact. In more than half our deliveries, closer to ¾, I have had to track down missing meds, supplies. Several deliveries have been delivered the day after scheduled delivery date. Deliveries have been broken upon arrival. Shipments invoices checked off as including supplies that were missing. Promises of delivery date and times not fulfilled. Confusion every single month as to infusion dates of patient by pharmacy.

Responses were beyond slow and showed very little concern. I was told when done in four days with the interveinious medicine trans fusions I should be careful removing the needle and tubing. When I called Main Line Home Healthcare they said absolutely not. Don’t touch the infusion site. A trained nurse should do it and they would make calls and straighten all out. Never again.
