I've shopped at big high volume eyeglasses stores in NYC as well as high end stores in Cali and I can safely say that Lynn is the most professional and thorough optician I have had the pleasure of working with. I never felt rushed to pick out a particular frame or pushed to buy a particular brand. He spent whatever time was needed to find the right combination of frame and lens that would suit my face and needs the best. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and in detail. He knows his products in and out. On the day I picked up my glasses even though they felt great as is, he continued to make small adjustments to them until they fit perfectly. I highly recommend Lynn and the Optical Shop and will be returning for all my optical needs.

Fantastic service. I have put off getting glasses for quite some time, when I decided to, owner Lynn Via was a bit shocked my vision was as bad as it was. He was immensely helpful in picking out my frames; I had visited his lovely shop on reputation, for having the style I wanted, (I’m a bit flashy fashion wise). He informed me of my options for lenses and coatings, answered many technical questions related to my profession and how best to adjust to wearing glasses. He rushed the order, the total experience was fantastic. Then I received a call from Lynn a couple of hours later. He informed me he had built me a set of loaners, to come by and pick them up. Lyn is an awesome Optician, he takes great care in helping you select the right glasses for your face. I must have tried on 50 pairs of glasses, he was very patient. I have trifocals, he is methodic and exact on viewing real estate. I have referred several friends to him, they are all happy customers. In fact, I'll be bringing another friend this week. The quality and warranties of the frames and lens are top notch.

I recently needed to purchase my first pair of glasses with progressive lenses, an assignment I did not take lightly, and after searching far and wide, I was referred to the Optical Shop by a receptionist with artsy, unique, metal frames. In my opinion, the Optical Shop has the best selection of high quality frames in the area--there’s truly something for everyone. Lynn Via, owner and optician, was attentive, knowledgeable, and so patient—he spent a great deal of time helping me choose appropriate frames for both my face shape and prescription. I highly recommend this shop!
