I had an amazing experience at Optical Boutique and Eyecare. From start to finish the service was top tier. Nina was incredibly sweet and made the initial process smooth and stress free. Joy handled my exam with real precision, she is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. When it was time to check out, Marco made the entire process quick, easy, and professional. Overall the entire team was friendly, efficient, and made me feel well taken care of. Marco and all of the staff are very professional and down to earth. I’ve been seen by both doctors and they made my visit very comfortable. I wasn’t feeling well on my last visit but the doctor took care of me and got me in and out. The visit was smooth from start to finish.

I previously worked in optometry and ophthalmology for 7 years, so I fully understand insurance allowances and office policies. After accidental miswear left me short on contacts, I reached out two months before my annual renewal. I was told no additional contacts could be ordered and was instead sold individual lenses at $10 each. I paid $40 for four lenses, which is nearly the cost of a full box. Given that offices receive FREE trial lenses from manufacturers and can routinely use discretion in situations like this, the handling of this felt disappointing. Exceptions and discretion are common in healthcare, especially when patient care is the priority. That wasn’t the case here. When profit outweighs care, patients notice and they REMEMBER.
