Onslow Pediatric Associates

Summary: Doctors and nurses here are amazing and will treat your kids with care. The office staff might tell your child’s school someone has AIDS in your family just for the love of the game. Only giving this place 3 stars because the providers are on it and you can tell they care. I don’t think the administrative staff that work here can properly manage an email inbox let alone an office, here are my big three highlights from that office over the 5 years my kids were seen here: Someone erroneously listed my child’s grandparent down as having AIDS/HIV in their medical records. It also took a month to get a copy of both of my children’s medical records when we were moving. When we transferred here from Navy Med after I left the Marine Corps, they listed me as unknown relation to my son.

They will tell you that you have an appt, even send a text reminder. Then when you get there, miraculously it’s not in the system. This has happened more times than I can count. Either they need to get a new receptionist, or figure out why appts are getting deleted out of the system! I am sick of wasting gas.

They take great care of my children when we have appointments. Nurses and doctors are friendly. They explain things in ways that are easy to understand. I have no complaints. They bill Tricare correctly.

I’ve heard great things about this pediatrician. I am not doing shots for religious reasons and they will not accept me. They are pro vaccine and you must be up to date on vaccines for them to see you.

I always love Dr.Grant he is amazing. Today my autistic child had an accident in office. The nurse with curly red hair I think her name Allison or Megan, she was an angel! It's always so hard as a special needs mom, but she helped make the appointment smooth. She found my baby a diaper so he wouldn't go out in a cold pull up, bag for his pants just simply magnificent. We need more people like you! I never have a complaint about this office everybody is nice and kind.
