Dr. Fuchs and Sandra the vet assistant were absolutely amazing! I have a very anxious German shepherd and we had to do a blood draw which I was extremely worried about but I was immediately put at ease by them. They came up with a plan to accommodate his anxiety. They were so compassionate and adaptive to his needs. They were not forceful and did not push him over his limit. If you have a German shepherd or other high drive working dog and are worried about the vet, I really recommend Sandra. She really understood my dog and listened to everything I had to say and took it into consideration and advocated for us. They were both so proud of him afterwards and celebrated this win with us. I will definitely continue to use them and recommend them to any other anxious dogs and anxious dog owner

These folks are very friendly, compassionate and gentle when it comes to your pets. My cat is partly feral (outdoor/ indoor) type. She was pissed and having a hissy fit once I arrived with her in cat carrying bag. Then nurse Nikki came into the waiting room where my cat and I were waiting, and within two minutes had my cat wrapped in a towel and subdued. I was speechless. Dr and nurse Nikki examed my cat, they retrieved a few test samples from my cat. About twenty minutes later they determined what was wrong and explained to me the diagnosis, and then demonstrated how to apply the medication to the affected area. The entire visit was completed within an hour. I highly recommend Onslow Animal Hospital to everyone, who are looking for a professional establishment with an "A" team of caring

I am very particular about taking my fur baby to just any veterinarian. I just relocated here just ten months ago and took a chance because the fees were okay. My initial experience with the staff was absolutely great until the doctor came in. I found her very difficult to have a straight exchange with about something so simple pertaining to my babies diet. Every answer was round about and I just shut down at some point because personable skills just completely turn me off. What saved this experience to not be a total bust was the support team. As a customer, I do expect a doctor that has the ability to relate and connect genuinely not because its another paying customer. She just really rubbed me the wrong way...im really in the air about going back...Maybe it was a bad day..I dont know..

I loved it the first time, I have two big boy Dobermans and doctor k was friendly with them. I appreciate their paperwork and their accuracy with paperwork. Courtney and the other assistant at the front desk were doing a great job at check ins and outs. My second visit wasn’t as great, I was standing in line for check in and the lady looked right passed me to help another customer that came about 5 minutes after I did, made me feel invisible which I don’t think was anyone’s intentions but when I brought it to attention there was no remorse. My latest visit has restored all my faith in this hospital, and I would recommend any persons and their animals to bring them to these folk

Today our dog Knute (Rockney) Miller left us. The compassion and care that Doctor S and the staff showed today at the Carolina Forrect Vet clinic was fantastic. Doctor Shegogg took a very special interest in our dog from day 1 to the end. Thank you for your time and energy in extending our dog Knutes quality of life so we could enjoy him for a little bit longer. J Miller and family
