Ocean Dental

Not a pediatric dentist. Take your little kids somewhere else. Ocean dental is GREAT for our older kids (12+) BUT they allowed us to make an appointment for our 5 year old and then they couldn’t provide more than imaging and barely a cleaning for him at the time of service. He has been to a different dentist before (at 4yo), and even had a cavity filled, so it’s not like he couldn’t behave or tolerate it. We only switched due to insurance and Ocean dental of Enid markets itself AS IF it’s a pediatric dentist but does not have a pediatric dentist on staff at all AND they do not have a general dentistry provider on staff that is comfortable with providing any level of invasive care to that age range. They also did not disclose their own limits with that age group when we made the appointment

Ocean Dental in Enid doesn’t deserve even a 1 star but unfortunately, to leave a review at all you have to at least give a 1 star. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. As many of the other reviews state, you are not allowed to have more than only yourself in the procedure room at any given time. This is an issue in itself because they also DON’T tell you this before scheduling more than one child’s appointment. For children and parents who aren’t comfortable with being without a parent, THIS IS AN ISSUE. The staff doesn’t care tho. They will gas light you and try to challenge your knowledge and your stance anyways. This wasn’t the worst part tho which is really sad. The worst part is the assistance who work in a children driven office who have zero bed side manner. I feel like Dr.

Unfortunately you should know they do remove negative reviews at times. I posted a few. Called me in, when I was waiting for an appointment, told them I had COVID and could not come. They insisted I come and precautions would be taken. It was all a joke as I found out when I arrived. Bad business. Had my teeth cleaned, very sloppy service and not a good cleaning. The front office girls are fabulous, the "office manager" is a nightmare who seems to work seasonally for the sole purpose of harassing people. Go elsewhere.

Only aloud 1 parent back with my 1 year old who was already having a hard time at his first ever appointment they didn’t brush his teeth because he was crying and when the actual doctor came back he tried to just leave because my son was crying WHAT KID DOESNT CRY!? and when my husband mentioned that he would feel alittle better if he were also back there the doctor said no he’s fine and left. We didn’t feel understood at all!

This place is a joke! They won't let you sit with your children when in the back. My six year old was terrified today and they would not let both his parents in the back. My son was terrified and the staff had zero cares. And the doctor walked away after she dropped the tooth cap down his throat and he swallowed it.
