Wheatland Animal Clinic

My wife and I have used Wheatland for routine and preventative care for our pets for the past few years. Until now, we have appreciated the services provided and have referred friends and family to Wheatland. Last night, my wife’s cat developed what appears to be a serious urinary tract issue. Understanding that UTIs can worsen quickly, we called as soon as the office opened at 8:00 a.m. in hopes of getting him treated promptly. We were initially told he could not be seen for over 72 hours, then told 24 hours, and later told possibly late this afternoon. The shifting responses and lack of urgency were concerning and upsetting, given the nature of the condition. I had used Wheatland for years then moved away and moved back. I am 73 and on Social Security. My chihuahua became very ill and I called to see if I could make payments because I didn’t have any money and they said they were sorry but if I couldn’t pay they couldn’t see my Zoe. I said ok I’d just have to watch her die . She died at 3:00 AM that night. This incident only tells me they don’t care about animals only the money. I miss my Zoe so much. She was all I had to get me through this tough time I’m going through.

Wonderful caring staff. Took our beloved dog Jasmine in for an emergency, they did surgery to fix her, but her heart just couldn't take the strain and she passed away. They did everything they could to revive her. God bless the doctors and everyone who worked on her. She's in a far, far better place now. We know you will be at the rainbow bridge waiting on us. Mom and dad are going to miss you terribly!! Rest in peace our wonderful and loving fur baby.......

MiCha's vet is at this place. A coworker recommended them to me. MiCha loves her vet and the other vets as well as the techs. She does great with them and vice versa. Just got her fixed! I highly recommend this clinic to be the place to take your pets!!

Dr. Schrum is always attentive to Ali's needs. Services are getting a little high, but what isn't ? I'd recommend.
