OakBend Medical Center - Williams Way Hospital Campus

Took my son last night after he fell down and hurt his arm he wouldn’t move it and he cried in pain we arrived check in was fast but we got to the room 3 RN came in the room and all asked what happened and said ok sounds like might have a fracture let’s get him a IV so we can have him get pain management so we can pop it in the RN could not get it the iv she tried 6 times! She had the other girls bring a ultrasound machine and she was trying to do it with that and my son was hysterical of course being poked that many times I had tell them to stop and they gave him a shot of morphine because they couldn’t do the iv x rays came back nothing broken nothing fractured I got no answers so disappointed never ever would I recommend this place especially for kids never!

It’s worth noting that OAKBEND Medical Hospital is without any doubt one of the best medical facilities in Houston, TX. The medical doctor on duty was incredibly so thorough in rendering examination and treatment for which I am very grateful. Also, all the staffs, the X-Ray Technician and the nurses are absolutely wonderful for the services given. They wasted no time at all in making sure that I was seen by the doctor. Thank you so very much OAKBEND Medical Hospital for taking care of me today. I will forever remain grateful.

the comments about over sticking to put IV is true. I had the worst experience in the ER. Almost 3 weeks after my surgery and I still have soreness and bruising from the blown vein I got when the lady tried putting an IV in on my hand. She did not know what she was doing. The doctor doesn’t generally speak to each other. It was like tag you are it when it came to getting discharged between doctors. I saw my surgeon one time and that was it. Getting a Follow up appointment is the worst. Customer service for general surgery is a joke. The girls on the phone did not help at all. I cannot count the amount of time I got transferred cause they didn’t know the doctor’s name. The nurses in the hospital NOT THE ER are amazing. Would never come here again. Wife woke the day after Christmas with very bad stomach pains, were here on vacation from Georgia. Took her to Sugarland Herman, it looked like a 4 hour wait in the ER! Left and came here what a perfect choice we made. Wife got checked in, taken back right away and checked out. What a great team of people, from the RN, charge nurse,doctor and CT tech. Cat scan was clear, got her pain under control, couple hours later we were back at Brazos Bend State park to finish our vacation. ** note watch your holiday food intake! ** it will mess with your gut !!! We have this place on the star list on our maps if we EVER needed ER care when in town. Thank you all.

I brought my room mate James turner to the er o 1 31 2026 he is a double amputte.his left leg was real swelling and red looked to be infected. Also he has a large open wound. He was treated by Dr Charles tran . If that's what you call it. The wound was not cleaned or wrapped up with bandage. The gave him a shot sent him packing. Shameful work problem charged insurance company $5000.
