Oak Woods Manor

Oaks Woods Manor is a beautiful place. The staff is amazing. The compassion and dedication along with the overall environment is unlike any other. It is warm and welcoming. Ginger is such a gem. I own a mid sized sound production company. I do concerts and festivals, plus a bit of DJ services on occasion. As often as possible, I’m blessed with the opportunity to volunteer my services and play music for the residents. There’s normally a theme, be it 50’s 60’s, etc. so I set my playlist accordingly. What I get to see is a whole lot of smiles- people who are just happy to be there, and a staff that is 100% top notch. The facility is always clean and pleasant to be in, I just feel honored to be involved!

Trying to find a place for my mom so i went in on a self tour recently (i usually dont go on guided tours because i dont like to have unrealistic expectations thrown at me by a used car salesman) ....Definitely not an A+ experience. First impression was it did smell clean but right in the main entry area thrre was a water station that had no ice and bits of fruit floating in it (God knows how long its been there) not a great start. i spoke with a few staff members and some of the residents, most didn't have the best things to say. Unfortunately the new ownership has left the place adrift under sub-par management. The current director (whos office was dark at midday when i went in) had pretty much purged all dept heads for "personal reasons" and is apparently so overwhelmed that the retire

Love it here! Maverick the dog, is the best! I am a female 77 years old, I have to admit, I was a little skeptical moving in, but it was very difficult moving out of my home of 55 years, but the amenities that we get here was worth the move. Most important, I am happy and I feel safe here. I love the staff, they are amazing. I love the residents! I also love my apartment. Downsizing was difficult, but I found it liberating to get rid of a lot of junk. I am not disappointed I made this decision.

As a nurse, I've taken care of patients in this facility many times and can honestly say how impressed I am with Oak Woods. The staff is genuine, the building is well cared for, and the love for their residents goes above and beyond what I've seen in our community. Quality care is hard to come by these days. Ginger and her team have perfected it!
