Eye Associates of La Porte

I’ve been going here for years because the Dr is a wonderful professional. Unfortunately the front desk is horrible. I’m not sure if Carrie is lazy or just truly hates her job. Every-time I call it’s an inconvenience. Last year the Dr helped me make a decision to move to bifocal contact lens. After calling Carrie to check the status of my prescription for over 3 months I finally gave up and just ordered my last years prescription online to get by. When I finally called to make another appt to figure out what was going on I was told that I never picked up my script and it was sent back. Since my phones are all recorded lines I know Carrie never called. I asked to speak to the Drs on 3 separate occasions and never received a call back. People like Carrie should not be allowed to work in

extremely rude. only concerned about money. do your best to go elsewhere.

Apparently appt times don’t mean anything. Sat in the waiting for over 40 minutes. Don’t waste your time like we did ours.

Went to pick-up new glasses. They were in a very nice case. When I put them on I realized immediately something was wrong as sight was very blurry. Had to schedule another appointment to recheck the prescription. At that appointment, it was discovered that the doctor had made an error - glasses had to be sent back. Picked up the corrected glasses and are now fine. They were given to me without the nice case. I asked for the case and was brought a container with a horrible selection of cases. I took one, but will have to buy a better quality one. Also, no compensation was made for the inconvenience, additional wait and additional trips I experienced for this error - how disappointing.

10/10 experience. The Dr was a great personable guy. You will get treated very well here!
