I’m writing to report repeated unprofessional and emotionally painful treatment by staff at this location. I come all the way from Harlem (because our insurance won’t cover any closer NYU for my baby). It’s a long exhausting trip every time, and one visit they kept me waiting over 2.5 hours at the front desk, forcing me to call the insurance to list the pediatrician as “primary.” The insurance never even picked up!!! I was in tears begging them to please just let my baby see the doctor for her vaccination. She was overtired, crying, didn’t sleep half a day when her awake window is only 40 mins to 1 hour at this age. Not even to mention that she has sleepless night before coming to them because of gas issues and colics. They saw me breaking down and still no empathy. I ended up crying hyste

Dear NYU I hope this message finds you well. As I was reflecting on the past few years, I came across a piece I created during the year of Covid, titled Mother. It holds a special place in my heart, and I would love for you to experience it. I am truly grateful for your support and for the connections we've shared. and I hope you find something meaningful in this work. Warmly, Gabriel

I saw Dr. Weed for hyperpigmentation and was prescribed topicals. While that helped somewhat, what was never mentioned was the importance of prevention. I later learned that using simple over-the-counter washes with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, combined with barrier repair, could have stopped many of the bumps that turned into dark marks in the first place. This felt like a big oversight. I wish I had been given more practical guidance earlier instead of only prescriptions. Patients dealing with pigmentation should know it’s not just about fading what’s there, it’s also about stopping new spots from forming.

Love Dr Jacobson - she is incredible. My kids adore her. She is so smart and kind and reliable.Everyone in the office is so kind, and she has literally kept my kids healthy for 18-20 years.

Good service once I arrived at the office! Dealing with the main NYU Langone scheduling office is like a version of the Hunger Games. They have limited access to actual doctor availability.
