Nuvance Health Medical Practice - Gastroenterology Danbury

I met with Dr. Blansky today. My primary was instrumental in getting me an appointment quickly. I've been living with pain for over 2 months now and have had numerous tests and seen multiple doctors. For the first time in a long time I have hope of solving my issues. Dr. Blansky read my bio, asked pertinent questions, listened to me and started me on a pathway of getting better. I really had a good positive experience.

I called to schedule an appointment with a new doctor at the practice for a second opinion on the GI problems I’ve been having. The original doctor and nurse practitioner were both very nice, however they only kept throwing medications at me which were making the issue worse instead of recommending any other tests or treatments. I received multiple calls and emails confirming and reminding me of this appointment with the new provider. I then get a call 13 minutes to my scheduled appointment time while I was on my way there that this doctor was no longer accepting new patients and they wanted to reschedule to another day with my original doctor. This appointment was scheduled over a month ago, and I get a call 13 MINUTES before it that this doctor isn’t taking new patients? Why was it sched

Dr. Mae Tighe said quote on quote “ you just have bad intestines.” I had to go to NY to avoid Nuvance to get answers. I have Dysautonomia which she should know it’s common sense it effects the bowel, and same with collagen defects. She’s one of the worst doctors in the tristate area. 0 compassion or empathy for her patients and refuses to research anything to advance her knowledge in gastroenterology. She deserves malpractice lawsuits.

Dr. O'Brien and the nursing staff at the Duracell Building were lovely. The office scheduling and nursing staff are incompetent and refuse to accept that they made a terrible mistake. No pre-procedure instructions and they changed my procedure type without my approval or knowledge. I got to the appointment and had an IV before I knew the device was not available and a change was made. Called the office to discuss the situation and was lied to. They said there was a call, I have the recording on my voicemail. From Taylor "If you have questions regarding your procedure please call. If you don't disregard this message". Or even better I got a follow up call from Jasmine letting me know that I should arrive 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. I have no one to send this to, because Nuvanc

Terrible operations all pointing the finger at other groups. Avoid this group. Like others have mentioned their pre procedure calls and instructions are inadequate and poorly managed.
