Novant Health Urgent Care – Greenwood (Formerly Doctors Care)

I had a wonderful experience at Novant Health Urgent Care in Greenwood. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and professional. The front desk team made the check-in process smooth and stress-free, and the medical staff treated me with genuine kindness and respect. The provider took the time to really listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and make sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. I never felt rushed, which is something you don’t always find in urgent care settings. What truly stood out to me was that the manager personally came in to introduce herself and make sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns. Let me start out by saying . This is a very disrespectful place will never come here again for a DOT drug test. The woman that I had made me take off my hoodie and my hat. I have done numerous of DOT drug test at different places and had to take stuff off my hoodie and clean out my pockets etc …but I took off my hat, flipped it inside out, and showed them that it was nothing in there and I told her I was cold can I put it back on she said no They told me that it was their company policy, and the woman went and got her manager and told me that I was refusing the drug test and I told her I was not refusing to drug test I was asking a question she blew away a lot of proportion don’t come here and get your DOT drug test go to AFC seems to me that there was on a power trip i would never 👎🏾 co

The front desk clerk did not stop opening a package. I was told that she would be with me in minute. I then asked her what side of the counter to go on, she didn't answer me. She put away whatever was in the package before even coming to check me in. I explained to the front desk clerk that I was a patient of another Novant doctor's office. She really didn't even want to hear that I was a patient at another Novant location and the reason I was because it was part of the Novant System. I explained to her that had blisters between my toes and I couldn't do a lot of walking because I was in pain. I also told her that I had a telo visit with my Novant primary doctor on Tuesday. My experience there today was horrible. Front desk receptionist wasn't very Friendly or Welcoming. When they were doctors care it was great. This place is under new management. If you want in and out service or wanna be seen quickly this is not the place to go. I wasted 60 co pay and wasn't seen and couldn't get a refund was told I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for them to mail it to me. There were 2 people in front of me and we waited a little over an hour still not seen. It started getting packed with people and they still didn't call anyone to the back. You'll have a better chance at the ER. definitely lost a customer today and I will never go back there.

First, I apologize for my first review, however, I received a call the next day to come back and retake a PPD test. I am grateful for them recognizing a mistake that one lacked the integrity to be professional because she didn't give me no form just told me that I could come back after 2:35 pm. She wasn't specific in details. Thank you to the young lady that I spoke with for going out of her way showing compassion.
