Norwalk Community Hospital

I am highly satisfied with the service provided by Norwalk Community Hospital. The care I received was exceptional. I had been experiencing severe back pain for the past 24 hours, which made it impossible to lie down or sit for more than a minute. The staff demonstrated remarkable kindness and empathy, consistently monitoring my condition until the physician arrived. The physician promptly ordered the necessary tests, accurately diagnosed the issue, and administered effective treatment, leading to a swift resolution of my condition. Thank you and God Bless them!

The nurses and staff were so kind and helpful. I’d give them 4 stars, but they diagnosed me with something that I knew definitely wasn’t the case. When I spoke to my primary he said I definitely had an episode of something else that I think was what happened too. The doctor also tried to unnecessarily give me four rounds of morphine before even seeing me, which I declined (I’ve never even taken opioids before). He didn’t even know what was wrong with me when I saw him after the fact, and I had to catch him up on why I was in the ER, so I thought that was very odd as well.

By far one of the worst hospitals! This place is being ran by nurses instead of Doctors. The staff is bias and discriminates against certain patients. You tell them your symptoms and they will test you for something totally different. I don’t know how they still have jobs when they can’t even diagnose or treat the simplest symptoms. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to a dog! Go somewhere else, these people are very rude and they argue with patients! I’ve witnessed and experienced it myself, several times. Jose is unprofessional and lacks basic morals and integrity. I will never go back but I felt the need to share my experiences with you all!

The experience at Norwalk Community Hospital was absolutely AWFUL. My husband entered by ambulance and the Medic from Fire Department on Feb 1, Sunday, Blood pressure 203/112 and chest tightness and informed the nurse he was AFIB and she said there’s no beds, ask why he was brought there, he informed her that he was told they could service him. She yelled and said you didn’t talk to me and that he would have to sit on EMT GURNEY and wait, this went on for 20 minutes. My daughter and I stood and asked what’s going on and was there told by both EMT and MEDIC from Fire Department that this was unacceptable and held continual conversation while my husband lay there suffering. He needed emergency help they forced us to sign and AMA since they couldn’t take him we had to get him help we had to

It was a horrible experience overall at the ER, I had a cut on my eye lid, and the doctor said it needed to be glued. The glue he got was dry and couldn't be used, then he kept looking for glue for 15-20 mins until I was informed that they ran out of glue. So the doctor went ahead & taped it telling me that this should be good. Once I got home, I started bleeding again so I had to go to another emergency room to do it properly, and they glued it perfectly. So basically, my visit to Norwalk Community Hospital Emergency Room was useless & just wasted my time, I came to the hospital bleeding & I came out still bleeding because they ran out of glue.
