I found that the staff here are usually pretty good. Today we had a very bad experience, however. All the people at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, but we got a mean nirse with an Eastern European accent that sounded Russian (only saying this in the hopes that someone reading this review will figure out who it is) who kept asking me why I didn’t go to Naperville instead in a very rude insulting way, Telling me that she had heard me say that they close early and she knew they stayed open until five. I asked her if she could use the child needle for my daughter with Down syndrome who has very small veins, and she never answered me until I really pressed her and then she said she was using the small one. I've usually had good experiences at this urgent care, but after my extremely disappointing experience at the lab today, I would absolutely NOT recommend this location for lab services. While picking up a test kit to complete at home, I asked for clarification about the instructions, and was given incorrect instructions by one of the lab techs, Shayna. When I arrived back to the lab this morning to pick up extra supplies, I spoke with a different tech, who seemed very confused when I relayed the instructions that I had received. I was then given an "apology" from Shayna, not for the mistake she made, but for "any misunderstanding there had been." I sincerely hope that this was an isolated incident, and not a lowered standard for patient care.

From start to finish the staff were 1000% perfect! My 16 month old wasnt feeling well. They treated her like royalty. Got down on her level, talked to and played with her, made her feel comfortable and informed on what was going on, gave her prizes and stickers. It was the best a mom could ask for!

Yesterday I was there for hours. Not much in the way of service. The staff decided playing cards & laughing like little kids was professional.

I've had issues in the past with Northwestern in general but this is the 3rd time at the Blanchard Rd location and I have been highly satisfied. Today, Dr. Andrea, Pam (patient tech) and Hailey (X-ray tech) were so wonderful. I did do the survey but it did not allow me to mention Pam and Hailey, who most definitely deserve a shout out. They were so friendly, thoughtful and compassionate. They went above and beyond and I will definitely recommend this site to others. Great job!
