Dr. Joe is truly amazing. My husband went to him a few months ago in a lot of pain. My husband suffers from degenerative disc disease and sometimes his hip pops out of place which causes him a ton of pain. He was able to help my husband get back to normal life quickly. Onto me - I threw my back out a few weeks ago and just couldn't get myself out of pain so booked an appointment since I saw how much he helped my husband. Dr. Joe is seriously so kind and caring and is extremely gentle with his adjustments. I've always been a huge advocate for Chiropractors, but some of them I feel try to take advantage of people by trying to tell them they need to come in so often. I moved to downtown Wheaton last summer and was looking for a new chiropractor after having some shoulder issues from aerial fitness and a tight upper back from working remote. I found Dr. Joe online and decided to call the office to learn more and I’m so glad I did! I first spoke with Nancy, the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly and more than willing to help and call my insurance company to find out details of my coverage. She was a great first impression. My first appointment with Dr. Joe was awesome as he evaluated everything going on with me and we worked out a plan. Dr. Joseph Papuga and his wonderful staff have been instrumental to solving my general back soreness/stiffness problems over the years. In just one or two appointments he has been able to restore full mobility and eliminate any discomfort. He is kind and attentive with affordable, effective treatments that help me maintain a high quality of life. 10/10

I am so grateful for my friend who recommended Dr. Papuga to me for my lower back pain. Last month, I was at a point where it was difficult to sit. I was nervous because I had a trip coming up. Thankfully, I was able to see Dr. Papuga twice before my trip because he helped the pain go away to the point where I was able to fully enjoy my vacation and have zero pain on my flight! Imagine if Ryan Gosling was a chiropractor! Amazing clinical skills, great bedside manner, and helpful staff. He fixed my chronic back pain of 10 years and then fixed an acute rib injury. He will absolutely be able to help you and give you the tools/education to maintain your progress. Dr. Joe and Nancy are also very genuinely kind people and great to work with.
