Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Oak Brook

I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Northwestern Immediate Care in Oak Brook. Big shout-out to Dr. Rourke and Dr. Orkiszewska, as well as the wonderful nursing staff. The facility is immaculate—modern, clean, and clearly very well maintained. The doctors and nurses were incredibly professional, caring, and genuinely kind to my two kids. They made all of us feel comfortable and well taken care of. I’m especially grateful that they were able to accommodate a last-minute visit for me together with my children. Thank you for such exceptional care. Highly recommended!

Please don’t waste your time or money. They are absolutely horrible, understaffed, and do NOT care how long you wait. I made an appt and still waited 62 min until I just walked out. I couldn’t take waiting anymore, even after scheduling an appt. They are understaffed. Northwestern medicine claims they are the leader in healthcare and have all these billboards saying they are “top?” No they are not. I do not recommend them at all, the staff will purposely make you wait and then when you are sick and say something, they use that against you. Please avoid!

Apparently, there's no such thing as immediate care because you have to book an appointment in order to be taken.They only have one doctor working in the entire immediate care wing. . Northwestern needs to invest in people and get more doctors to work in that new development that's just sitting empty. So I guess I need to predict when I need a immediate care in order to schedule it which makes no sense.

Went to immediate care and I am extremely happy with the service I got. Registration was fast and easy. A tech took me in the back 5 minutes later, did all my vitals and go over the stuff in my chart. I think I saw the doctor in less than 10 min. She was very knowledgeable and spent time with me listening to my concerns/history. Never did I seem like I was being rush or not taken care of properly. Highly recommend.

ve been to this urgent care a handful of times, but after my last two visits, I won’t be returning. Unfortunately, I was seen both times by Dr. Stephen Spotak, who seemed completely unprepared to address my concerns. On my first visit with him, I came in for a burn and was only offered a tetanus shot, no real treatment or guidance beyond that. This most recent visit, I went in for an issue on the bottom of my foot (possibly a wart or corn), and again, the only thing I was offered was a tetanus shot. I was told, “I don’t know what this is,” which was both surprising and disappointing. It feels like a waste of time and money to come to a clinic where basic diagnoses and treatment options aren’t provided.
