Extremely irresponsible. Insurance was provided when booking, the appointment was confirmed, and we even received a confirmation text. Only after taking time off and arriving in person were we told that Northwell Health does not accept the insurance. Completely unacceptable. If you don’t accept the insurance, don’t schedule the appointment. Total waste of time.

We have had very poor experiences with Dr Kanterman at this office. My husband uses Dr Kanterman for primary care for several years now. He sees Kanterman several times a year for well visits as well as when he has concerns. Dr Kanterman is responsible for refilling many of my husband's monthly medications. Not a month goes by that there isn't some sort of delay in my husband's refills, which require us to call the office several times before the medication is refilled. This also means that on a monthly basis my husband will go at a minimum of several days without one of his important maintenance medications which results in adverse reaction from stopping the meds abruptly. I just left the office after waiting forty five minutes for my first appointment. I would have been happy to wait longer had I not been obviously cut in line by friends of Dr. Katz who were both rushed back. Being informed there are 4 patients ahead of you, including two who checked in 30 minutes after you with appointments 15 minutes after your’s, is beyond ridiculous. No wonder this place is rated so low.

I just led the office after being told to call my insurance and change my PCP. Woman at the front was too busy answering her cellphone, second one was trying to to whisper to the third one about a patient. If you are not happy where you work, why don’t you quit?

Very dissapointed of this office . My husband has his first visit scheduled today with Dr Katz and after waiting for 15 min the front desk told us “something happened in the room and will be a 1 hour wait” . I asked for another doctor or nurse practitioner and they said no, only solution is to reschedule, after driving over 30 min and getting out from work early. Very bad first experience in this office.
