Dr Gish is awesome. I have followed him to different locations over the years as the need for oral surgery/implants arose because he is just that good. He has done multiple procedures at once for me (extractions, bone graph and implant on different sides of mouth), always virtually pain free, heal quickly without issues. He is an amazing surgeon and his staff are wonderful too. Very accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

I moved from Brooklyn to LI eight years ago and am still struggling to find doctors that are comparable to what I had in Brooklyn and Manhattan as I don't want to trek to the city. Enter Dr. Gish and his staff and honestly, I cannot articulate how perfect everything was for someone like me who has dental PTSD. I needed two molar implants and first had a consultation appt. The staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable and Dr. Gish has excellent bedside manner which is VERY important for someone like me and addressed my concerns. Before I left, I was given a breakdown regarding payment and scheduled my implants appt. One month later (2.6.26), was THE day. Again hospitable staff welcomed me and went over the payment. We had a great experience with Leading Edge Oral Surgery in Woodbury when my daughter got her wisdom teeth removed recently. Everyone in the office was so pleasant. Dr Gish and his assistant, Francesca, were really nice and made my daughter feel so comfortable before the procedure (she was very nervous). Dr Gish explained what was going to happen and also the options she had for anesthesia. The procedure was quick and painless and she didn’t have much swelling (probably because it was the top teeth which we were told are easier to remove). I am very happy things went so smoothly and would highly recommend Dr. Gish to anyone looking for an excellent oral surgeon.

Hey, I will start by first saying I’m No fan of the dentist like I’m sure allot of people aren’t. I arrived the morning of my procedure and was greeted by Antonette & Ariel who explained the whole insurance coverage and answered all my questions about the oral surgery. My Anxiety level was quite high thinking about having a tooth extracted and prep work for an implant. I was then greeted by Dr. Bohle who explained the whole procedure and guaranteed me I would be fine and not feel any pain except a pinch from the Novacaine Injection. Needed to have a tooth extracted and grafted and was quoted a very high price by another practice. Called Leading Edge for an appointment on Monday and was seen the very next day. Leading Edge quoted me a way more affordable price and even broke down the itemized cost of everything before my appointment. All the staff were very friendly and helped calm my nerves. Dr.Gish had the whole thing done in 15 minutes. Seamless from start to finish. Would recommend this practice to anyone!
