Northwell Health Orthopedics at Hudson Yards

I chose Dr. Zaslav based on positive reviews, but my experience did not meet those expectations. During my appointment, he asked the physician assistant, in my presence, “Can she afford it?” in reference to a $40 medical device. Regardless of intent, this comment felt unprofessional and implied an assumption about my financial situation. Patients should be treated with respect and without judgment.

Avoid Dr. Zaslav. Extremely poor experience. No bedside manner whatsoever. Requires you to do an xray before he gives you a second of his time regardless of what the issue is. I wanted to ask him a quick question prior to getting an xray given my adversion to getting unnecessary radiation, and he was so annoyed that I would dare to ask such a question and brushed off my concerns. Pretentious and unaccommodating. AVOID.

I love the new offices of Dr. Kenneth Zaslav, my brilliant orthopedist at the Hudson Yards neighborhood. Being greeted by an extremely professional front desk staff at this office was a major highlight. Jeannette and Monique are exceptional in their customer service. Every health provider’s office should be like this office. The patients leave here feeling well taken care off. Can’t beat that!!

Highly recommend Dr. Michalisin and Dr. Mota. They're excellent doctors who are also incredibly empathetic, supportive, and invested.
