Northern Virginia Pediatric Associates “NVPA”

Doctors are very good but staff can be rude and disorganized. We see Dr. Henrikson, who is excellent and the best pediatrician we found after seeing multiple doctors in the Northern Virginia area. I only wish they would hire front desk staff with critical thinking skills. Update: another terrible interaction with the front desk staff. I don’t know why they employ humans when an AI robot would be more competent and responsive. I spent over 30 minutes on hold then was told I would be charged a cancellation fee even though my spouse (who was deployed overseas and in transit back home trying to help me sort this out) and I had both been trying to cancel for over 24 hours and was told I should have done so online even though the practice is in the middle of a health portal system switch. Then

Clean and well organized pediatric clinic. They have their own laboratory. Nurses are friendly and the admin staffs. The doctors service is exceptional especially Dr. Atiyeh. They practice safety because they’re still wearing mask and it’s required to wear a mask upon visits.

Dr. Kelly took care of our 8-month-old son who was diagnosed with meningitis. We were so impressed with his care that we named our next child, Kelly after him!,

My experience here has always been nothing but exemplary. I truly cannot say enough kind words about Dr Henrikson. She is the most empathic, caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate provider I’ve ever encountered. She goes above and beyond to provide answers, reassurance, guidance, and truly cares about not only the child, but the parents as well. She has guided me through some tough times with both my girls, and knowing how us mothers can be, she has never judged me nor lost her patience with my abundance of questions, concerns and sometimes overbearing worry about the health of my children. I don’t know what I’d do without her. My family is forever indebted.

Awesome experience! I’ve been going for years and just recently finished at 21 years old. Dr. Atiyeh and the staff are great and always look out for their patients! Highly recommend for any one looking for a pediatrician!
