Northern Dutchess Hospital

I was recently released from the hospital after surgery and, I have to say, it was the best hospital experience I've had. Staff in er were on top of things so fast and fluid, I felt taken care of. The doctors were exemplary in their approach and care, letting me know what was needed, with step by step directions, not leaving me to guess or ask what's going on. From the er nurse with iv placement, to the final dr order for release, this proved there are good people still in the world. Thank you so much for the skilled care I received.

As a 76 year old retired health practitioner. It was the worst and potentially dangerous position I have seen a patient placed in, while in a hospital setting.From administration down to floor level staff. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. I would fear for their safety from the moment they are admitted. There is quality medicine being practiced in well run hospitals a few miles north and south of Northern Dutchess. I recommend anyone, make your choice wisely. Neither myself nor my family will ever walk through the door of Northern Dutchess Hospital

I got to the ER at 1:00 AM and was out before 2:00 AM. I am going through a really horrific time and the nurses who were working were amazing. Truly. Chrissy and Tabitha - thank you, you have no idea how much you helped me. I’ve been carrying the weight of the world for what feels like forever; you lifted the burden, reminded me what’s important and what I miss having in my life — girlfriends. The doctor was also really nice, she listened to me, and didn’t make me feel judged or ashamed. Even the lady at registration was nice! Thank you to all of you! I was born at this hospital many (many) years ago. This is the best ER visit I have ever had. 💜 ✨

I had an extremely bad experience at Northern Dutchess Hospital and would go as far to say this is a HIGHLY UNETHICAL company. I went and gave my insurance info to the hospital upon checkin. My insurance company paid the bill for the hospital. Months later I realize that they actually sent me another bill for Dr. Andrew Hasbrouck and Dr. Jacob White. Even though I saw both these doctors for a total of 30 seconds, I have a multiple thousand dollar bill from each of them apart from the $6,000 hospital bill paid by my insurance company (I received no treatment apart from getting a motrin). The worst part is now after months of trying to reach the hospital to get an invoice for these doctor's "services" they are completely unreachable. Went to the ER on the afternoon of October 25th, with walking pneumonia. From the check-in nurse to the X-ray technician,everyone was courteous and professional. Dr. Salzman was great, explained what was going on and what I needed to do. If she opened an office in Rhinebeck I would be there. RN Justin Harris was also great,there when you needed him, not just make an appearance and disappear. Sorry I didn’t get everyone’s name . But Thank you one and all.
