Northeast Medical Group Internal Medicine - Branford

I have been a patient at NE Medical, Branford for 15 yrs. Doctors, nurses and staff are 5-star. Yale NH Health acquired them a few yrs ago and has just eliminated contact with the office for appointments or to leave a message for the physician. Patients are routed to Yale NH Health "Care Connection Center". It took over half an hour to get connected and leave an urgent message to my PCP. What used to be an easy and pleasant procedure is now the opposite. 1-star for Yale NH Health. I would switch to leave Yale NH but I have too much respect for the doctors, nurses and staff.

I was a patient of Dr. Millers for a few years. He was an excellent physician. Caring, extremely competent...what we hope to see from our medical professionals. He retired a year or so ago. The group he worked for (this one) sent me a letter to choose a new physician. I vaguely recall getting this letter, but didn't respond. My fault completely. Today, I called to ask to be seen because I am experiencing peripheral neuropathy in my extremities. A tingling and sense that my limbs feel weak. I have a pretty significant heart issue, and want to make sure this problem I'm experiencing isn't related to my heart. Dr Le is my PCP and is a wonderful practitioner, physician and person. She takes care of me, takes time to listen and asks questions, being incredibly supportive and thorough. A breath of fresh air in this current 5 minutes and gone typical visit. Thanks again Dr Le.

I LOVE MY PRIMARY DOCTOR. Which is why this gets at least two stars. But whoever is hiring at their front desk need to be fired themselves. Just got off the phone with the most rude woman I think I have ever spoke to. I work in healthcare, I work up front, and I’ve worked in the back. I get it ALL. But the treatment I just received was appalling to say the BEST. I’m beside myself. Absolutely terrible costumer service from the CSRs. I’m beyond disappointed.

This used to be a great doctors office, but ever since Yale took over it is terrible (as is the case with all Yale takeovers in the area). It is much harder to get an appointment, and they are money hungry! Customer service has gone way downhill. I've been going here for about 20 years, and I am ready now to find a new doctor's office. Shame.
