I love this Dentist. I’m so glad I switched. He does great work. He’s very friendly. He makes The experience it easy.. He’s very understanding he’s very thorough. Most of my family goes to the dentist. I can’t say enough good things about him, but if you’re looking for an amazing Dentist, this would be the Dentist you would want.. I will recommend the Dentist to all my family and friends as I’ve been doing. I even spoke to periodontist specialist and he said that this Dentist is one of the best in Connecticut. Also, neither he nor his staff make me feel bad about the problems. I have in my teeth as other dentist and dental hygienist have done in the past. Very non judgy which is great.

This review is for the Branford location specifically. We had never been to the Branford location before our November 2025 visit so I checked Google Maps and saw the building was in a residential area with a few steps at the front entrance and a driveway leading to a parking lot — I assumed there might be a ramp in the back. What I did not know, and was never told, was that the practice is located on the second floor with no elevator and no handicap access. My father was 96 years old at the time and had been on hospice for about a week. He was in significant pain from a tooth and really had to push himself to get to that appointment. Getting him up that staircase — too narrow for his wheelchair — required both my sister and me physically supporting him the entire way. He needed oxygen by t

New Haven Dental Group Is The Best. Hygienist Heather Tondalo did A Great Job On my teeth. Very thorough, with no pain, or issues. Dr Dessereaux was very kind and personable. I highly recommend them.

Find out whether it's in-network or out-of-network because the clinic may be in-network but not whoever works on you! I took my parents there, dad has a toothache and mom just a simple cleaning. It's their first time and I wasn't sure how their dental insurance plan works. I was informed there was also this "in-house" dental plan which would cover all the basic stuff. I specifically expressed my concern that I wasn't sure whether my parents dental plan would work. I asked could I always come back to use your "in-house" plan if it does not? I’ve been very impressed with New Haven Dental Group in Branford! All of the hygienists are extremely kind and professional, and the women at the front desk are always very friendly and welcoming. There’s plenty of availability when it comes to scheduling appointments, and I’ve never had to wait long once I arrive. Everyone here is very gentle during cleanings and procedures, and it’s clear they all have a great deal of knowledge in their field. The service is excellent, co-pays are always handled properly, and the office never feels too busy or rushed. It’s an overall great experience every time — I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality dental care!
